A wonderful museum experience. The museum is in a quiet location and seems unassuming from the outside, but the amount of information, media and exhibiting objects they displayed was very impressive. I learned so much not only about history but also human suffering, resilience and hope.

I went when the Kim Bok Dong special exhibition was on, and it was such a special experience that made me tear up several times. The museum did an excellent job depicting her as a wonderful, exceptionally strong woman who despite her own suffering reached out to victims in need.

I also really appreciated the English audio guide devices the museum kindly provided, as I did not speak Korean at all but was still able to learn so much from the museum. This is an unforgettable experience, would definitely recommend it to others.

훌륭한 박물관 경험이었습니다. 박물관은 조용한 곳에 위치하고 있으며 밖에서 보기에는 소박해 보이지만, 전시된 정보, 미디어, 전시품의 양은 매우 인상적이었습니다. 역사뿐만 아니라 인간의 고통, 회복력, 희망에 대해서도 많은 것을 배웠습니다.

저는 김복동 특별전이 열릴 때 갔는데, 여러 번 눈물이 날 정도로 특별한 경험이었습니다. 박물관은 그녀를 훌륭하고, 자신의 고통에도 불구하고 도움이 필요한 피해자에게 손을 내밀었던 매우 강한 여성으로 묘사하는 훌륭한 일을 했습니다.

박물관에서 친절하게 제공해준 영어 오디오 가이드 장치도 정말 감사했습니다. 저는 한국어를 전혀 못했지만 박물관에서 많은 것을 배울 수 있었습니다. 잊을 수 없는 경험이었고, 다른 사람들에게도 추천하고 싶습니다.
