Theme: An exhibition showcasing the challenging lives of survivors who returned to their home countries after the war, as well as the stories of Vietnamese women who suffered sexual violence at the hands of Korean troops during the Vietnam War

Two Special Exhibitions Celebrating the Museum’s 3rd Anniversary

On the second floor, the exhibition highlights the struggles of former "comfort women" who returned home after the war, only to endure lives marked by poverty and isolation. In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Korea’s liberation, it reflects on what true liberation should mean for these women.

In the outdoor underground exhibition hall, the stories of Vietnamese women who suffered sexual violence by Korean soldiers during the Vietnam War are presented. This exhibit invites visitors to reflect on the enduring pain of these survivors and the deeper meaning of peace and liberation.

*The second-floor exhibition ended on August 15, 2023, while the Vietnam War exhibit in the underground hall remains ongoing.
